COMMENT:

You might be wondering why I would be offering the 2005 Pipe when it is already 2006. Well, let me explain. Ever since I got to see this design at the beginning of 2005, I have been in love with it, and I was determined to at least get to offer one on my site. I got this opportunity at the end of 2005, and when I inspected the pipe carefully, I just had to have it and offer here. The shape as you can see, it's simple and yet has a lot of exciting features and touches to offer. When I look at the pipe from the side, the standard shape that comes most to mind is the Dublin, but of course, this pipe is a far cry from a classic Dublin. I'll let the photos do their job and give you an accurate idea of how this shape is so unique. As for the stain, and though I personally don't like red, this one simply does the trick. The combination of red and brown does indeed bring out the grain and gives the overall design a touch of extra elegance. The very elaborate silver band is in and by itself a work of art, with lots of engraved shapes onto it. The elegant tapered mouthpiece comes with a plain silver brand incorporate, and the whole idea of the Army Mount does indeed complement the overall shape design. The year "2005" is inscribed on that plain band that is part of the mouthpiece. Ah, I just noticed that the logo on the mouthpiece is not the plain silver dot, but rather the Sun Logo. As far as I know, this logo is used with pipes that accommodate a filter. To my surprise, the pipe does NOT take a filter.
This is one of only 300 "2005" pipes, in all finished, and it comes with an elegant leather box, with a Mastro certificate and guarantee made especially for the 2005 pipe.
